This is an unofficial cache of Czech weather radar composites for the Radar CZ iOS app. It is not operated by or affiliated with the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute.
Data source: Radar data by ČHMÚ (Český hydrometeorologický ústav), published at opendata.chmi.cz under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence. The images are served here exactly as published, without modification.
What it serves: /v1/maxz/frames.json and
/v1/maxz_masked/frames.json list the newest 24 hours of frames, and
/v1/{product}/{name} returns one frame. Frames are kept for 7 days.
There is no other API, and a missing frame is a 404 rather than a fetch from ČHMÚ.
Privacy: like any web server this one receives your IP address to answer a request. It does not write addresses to logs or to disk, and it keeps only aggregate request counts. See the app's privacy policy for the full text.
